I got a great deal on this phone. I love the fact that it has the full keyboard without the slider feature - in my experience slider phones are more fragile. This phone is very sturdy and has held up well to the abuse I give it (me being clumsy and dropping it all the time.) I don't use it for data or internet at all; its a great phone for basic messaging. For the price it is exactly what I wanted, and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for an affordable messaging device.
Pros: messaging, durability
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone could have been good but battery life very disappointing. New phone battery life only lasted 2 days, put in new battery and it also only lasted 2 days.

For the price, this is an o.k. phone. Biggest problem that I have with it,is the poor picture quality.Since I use it mainly for work as a quality control lead,I need to be able to document problems including photos, but this phone falls way short.Durability is good,as it has been dropped many times over the last several months.
Pros: ease of use
Cons: poor camera

For those of you who are simply looking for a no-fuss messaging phone that allows talking, messaging, the occasional emailing, and a no-fuss camera. This is the phone for you. It gets the basics done and even has Google Maps to help you navigate if you don't have GPS. For the price, it's a great deal. And it's definitely durable. I've had mine for over three years.

If you want a simple phone that is a step under Android, but a step above a flip phone/simple phone...this is a good buy. The Opera App allows for a more real internet feel. Some sites may not let you load if it is too much data usage, however. Email works great...GPS is always a plus. I had this phone for over 2 years and it has survived many drops, chil bites, water accidents...and it still works fine. The only problem is the keyboard is very small. I have small fingers, and it is still hard for me to type with ease. If I use the edge of my finger it works for me. Maybe if they made the phone bigger....either way it is better than having to press the same button over and over when you type on a flip phone....or phone where each button shares 3 different letters. That is annoying to me. The battery lasts through the whole day with regular usage. The phone could have been better if a music app was added to it. Overall, I was happy with this phone before I upgraded to Android.
Pros: real internet feel, full keyboard, screen size
Cons: no youtube, no music, small keyboard, text message limit too short
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a good basic phone with a keyboard. I use it for work texting and fielding calls in a machine shop. The reception could be better for fringe areas but much better than some others. I've had and abused this phone for 3 years dropped it many times in oil and coolant yet it still works good. The keboard is a bit small for Man Hands but I get by and the display is a bit small. At this price point you don't get a computer.
Pros: battery life, easy to use, durable
Cons: small keyboard, small display

Worst phone I've ever had, although it was probably a refurb. Won't hold a charge, keyboard way too small; keys actually stopped working all around the perimeter after about three months.

My phone is not connected to my ear 24/7 so I just needed a phone to call once in awhile, send a few texts and use for emergencies. This one really meets my needs. It wasn't super expensive. The battery lasts a few days without charging. My only small problem is that the buttons are really small so if you have bigger fingers you have to take care. Otherwise it's perfect for me...

I've had this phone for over a year now, and so far its been having issues with turning on/off with small drops (setting down on a table sometimes is enough). I have dropped it a few times, and considering how long i've had the phone it doesn't surprise me that its become sensitive to drops. Since i bought the phone, it has always been really slow. You press the menu button, and it takes about 5 seconds to pop up, def slower than what im used to. Also, the keys are a bit cramped, but over time you can get used to that too. Over my use of the phone, a few keys have stopped working all the time when pressed.
Once you get used to the pace of the phone, it works great for the basics. If all you want is texting and calling, and browsing the internet once and a while this is a good phone for you. At the same time, if thats all you want out of a phone you can be just as satisfied with a cheaper model that isnt as slow. Also, the app functionality/graphics are basic at best.
The battery life is really good, one of the few redeeming qualities of the phone. Also its pretty light, and not too fat/chunky.
Overall the slowness and basic look of the menus and apps and other small issues add up. This phone will last you through a long time, but will start to die a slow death. It really is worth paying less/more for a different model.
If youre looking for a basic phone for texting and talking, just get a cheaper model thats faster (the one i had before was).
If youre looking for a cheap phone to do more advanced apps like email or games, pay more for a better model because this one just falls through the cracks.
Pros: battery life, long lasting, good for texting, good for talking
Cons: slow button response time, basic graphics, slightly cramped keyboard

Pros: versatality and price
Cons: keyboard way too small

I have owned this phone for about 6 months. I have dropped it many times. Like 20 times. This phone doesn't break. It just keeps working. I love that. For me this is the perfect phone. I can get service where some phones can't. I can check email, text, take pics, send and receive pics, and even send music with pics. I only have to charge the battery every couple days.

Follow complete instructions when first time charging your phone. If not already charged by manufacturer. The maximum charging time is between 2 hours and 3 hours when first receiving your phone. Battery life far exceeds any phone I have ever owned. Great phone for those on a budget or just starting to use a cell phone.
Pros: battery life
Cons: internet and data access.

I love this phone. I have had this phone for over 3 years, and I have put it through a lot. I have dropped in in more puddles than I care to remember and the only thing that ever started to act funny is the camera and that was recently. I don't do a lot of apps, so for me I would only have to charge the phone about once every couple of days.
Pros: everything

It is easy to use/learn. The keyboard buttons are small, but as long as your fingertips are average/small size that shouldn't be a problem. I love the Virgin Mobile's phone plan that comes with it. No contract, no expensive monthly fees, and more minutes than I even use each month. Of course, unlimited texting helps. Virgin Mobile's listed price for the phone is a true value.
