I love the Samsung Entro because its voice dialing is much improved over my previous VM phone. I have low vision and can't see to dial very well, so voice dialing is very important to me. Also the main navigation keys are completely customizable, so this is essential in addition to speed dialing. And finally, after logging on to my VM account and entering the serial number, the Samsung Entro essentially activated itself and I was able to immediately make a call. Bravo Virgin Mobile! I love this phone so much I'm going to buy another for a spare!

too bad windows 7 can't load a driver when I plug in to my pc USB port. it tries then fails.

For a basic needs phone, this could be a good pick. Not a good choice for texting, as it is slow. No dropped calls.

A no frills phone that's great for those of us who don't spend all day on one, or as a backup, or to throw in your travel bag, or take in your camper. I bought 2 of them from the Virgin Mobile website. 1 is for my handicapped son, because it's easy to use . I haven't had it long enough to run through a battery, but I have an older Samsung Virgin Mobile phone that's still going strong after 4 years.

This is the best phone I have ever had. The sound is great, I don't get that strange echo sound. It is so easy to set up and the price was right. this phone is your basic, which makes it less confusing and just what I need. Thank you samsung!!

We've had our entro for 3 months now, it has a great long battery life. Easy to set up, easy to use, for simple texting & talking.
Especially for the price. it was perfect for us @ a time, when funds wre tight to still have a phone to keep in contact with friends, family & work.
Great phone for someone who just needs to make a few calls or send a text . . like young kids or older adults.
A little disappointed that there's no camera for a quick picture, but that's why they'll so affordable.

I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I have had nothing but problems with it. It cuts off and just turns off in the middle of a conversation. Does not pick up signals well at all. There are 3 other virgin mobile phones in this house that work fine but not this one. It is hard to read your texts. Just overall a bad phone!!

I got this phone when I switched cell phone companies. I had an iPhone before, so this phone took a bit of getting used to. This phone is a great phone for people who want a basic phone- there is no camera or any other fancy extras you might find on a more expensive phone- and a tough phone- I accidentally dropped it several times and it still works. I loved the speaker phone on it. It's almost as good as my old iPhone's. The only problem I had with this phone was texting. The keys on it are not made for people to send a lot of texts on. If you're the kind of person who calls more than they text, this is the phone for you.

Compared to the other Samsung cheapo phone, which I owned until the vibrator motor died on me (2 years), this one is bigger, heavier, and feels a lot more basic (lack of camera not withstanding). The reception quality is worse than the old one, but the battery is like the energizer bunny! The worst idea in this phone is the speaker on the back. Come on! To hear it you need to put it upside down or side ways. NOT engineering brilliance, more like ineptitude. See, the other phone did not suffer from that dumb design, or at least the speaker did not sound muffled when laid down normally. I would buy my oldie again, but they don't make it anymore...

I had the blackberry STYLE flip phone. hated the battery life, had to charge every day, even without any call! Swapped BBerry with same model, still not good.
Finally thanks to all the review got this phone.Love it for just making and receiving call. Short and sweet phone with amazing battery life. and hard to beat $20 per mth plan. If you want "smartness(??)" in phone, this is not for you or if you want to brag about yr phone!!

I just activated this phone for a friend to give it to him tomorrow as part of a surprise gift. He is wasting money on T-mobile's pre-paid plan so i activated it with the $40 unlimited talk and text with 50 mb of web Pay-lo plan. I know that he will be happy. I finally found an unusual but perfect opportunity to make him switch. This is the perfect phone for talk and text as the battery life is superb.

This phone works better than any "smart" phone I have ever owned. I only have to charge it every 2 or 3 days, it never malfunctions and it's basic and easy to use. I downgraded to this phone after I went through 3 different malfunctioning "smart" phones. It's perfectly simple!

Phone works great but theinstruction manual is totally inadequate. It doesn't tell you what the buttons do - it doesn't describe the various functions,options & programs, nor how to access them. I'm a computer novice who wants the simplest phone - have spent several hours trying to figure it out ! I'm hopelessly confused. Please provide a manual for a novice that explains EVERYTHING in detail...step by step and how to access all the capabilities & available functions. Finally figured out how to use phone and contacts, but there is much that I still don't know.
