I was initially looking to get the Galaxy S2 but then realized the Victory had a better version of Jelly Bean than the Galaxy S2 and had a lot of the same functions. I have never been more happy with a smart phone than I am currently with this smartphone. It's fast, takes great pictures and it's not too large of a phone. I don't have 4G LTE service where I live but the 3G service is pretty good with this device. If you're looking for a solid alternative to the Galaxy S2 or S3 this is your phone, not to mention it has NFC technology to quick tap other NFC phones to transfer data or make payments at select stores with your Google Wallet app. I love my phone and it's easy for my wife to use who isn't very tech savvy and is scared of devices fairly easily.

I love this phone. It wasn't my first choice. I originally went in to purchase the Samsung Galaxy II S. They were out of stock and recommended the Samsung Galaxy Victory instead. I hesitated but in the end I purchased the phone and have been in love with it ever since.

I came to VM from Verizon, and went from a Droid Razr M to the Galaxy Victory 4G LTE. I knew it was a step down as far as camera and video were concerned, but I figured the rest of its features would be comparable. They aren't. This phone has an overly sensitive autocorrect feature which, at times, will randomly DELETE everything I've just typed, making me have to start all over again. It happens every day and it is very frustrating. There is no setting to change to prevent it from deleting everything. I am forced to rely on the audio input for everything that requires I type. The camera is passable, but definitely not something you could use to upload photos to be printed, unlike the 8Mp camera I had on my Droid M. First chance I get, I'm looking for an unlocked Razr M because this phone drives me crazy.
Cons: deletes texts in progress, camera, settings are hard to locate for various functions

I agree that the stock on-screen keyboard isn't very good. Try Swype or Swiftkey instead and you'll be much happier.

I bought my Galaxy Victory 4G LTE a little over a week ago. It seemed to be a good value at time of purchase but the reality is I am very disappointed in the performance so far. My initial use was out of town, and luckily in a city with Sprint 4G. Downloading some of my crucial apps had to be done over the network as no wi-fi was available. Downloads were quicker than my old Straight Talk phone (3G) but not by much. Signal reception has been worse on this phone than my other as well,I always had great Sprint reception on my old phone which was one of the reasons I stayed with a Sprint based company but this phone is much worse. I have downloaded apps with wi-fi this week but they are not as fast as I had hoped...this processor is making a name for itself on specs alone...not performance.I also hate the fact that you cannot store apps on the SD card. I might stay with Virgin Mobile in the future, but that will depend on what new phones come soon. For Virgin Mobile's top of the line 4G Android, this phone is not a good value.

The Samsung Galaxy Victory is the best phone on virgin mobile. It is fast, fluid and very responsive. It works very well. The LTE is quite good (If you get it). I really like that I can pay as low as $35/Month for this full featured smartphone. I very happy with virgin mobile. The galaxy victory feels really good in the hand and looks quite nice as well. The large screen is really a nice feature. I came from a blackberry Curve 8530 on virgin mobile and when I switch to the Galaxy Victory I was very happy. I enjoy this phone and think its a must have for virgin mobile. I would take the galaxy victory over the Galaxy S2.
Pros: battery life, lte, screen size, responsive

I've only had the phone for a few days but I love it! My last phone had to be charged twice a day and was so basic. This phone's battery is lasting much longer. I love that you can customize everything on this phone even the background on texts. I recommend this phone to anyone who wants complete smartphone features without having to pay outrageous prices.

I have been unhappy with my old carrier that started with a V for a long time, but never found anything compelling enough for me to consider leaving them. After prices kept going up and features and times down I started looking around, but never felt the want/need for a smartphone. When I saw this in the store and used it, everything about it just came natural. I would of bought this in the store had the salesman not disrespected me by telling me I really wanted the SII, but like I told him it's primary use is as a phone. Now that I have this, it still is used as a phone but has the features that I can use that make me avoid three fourths of the reasons I was always on the phone before. It's intuitive and easy to use, and doesn't overwhelm with a steep learning curve as how best to use it.

I just switched from a sprint HTC EVO 4G.( Which by the way I was pretty happy with) sprint did one of those re-evaluate fiasco things and raised my plan. I got this as a stop-gap and I am amazed at how well it works. Great camera (the specs say the evo is better but the pics on the Samsung are WAY better). Far better call quality and louder volume. Android 4.x is way better than previous versions. Better phone same service at half the price for a year including the price of the phone
Pros: nice camera. easy to use phone
Cons: hard to find a holster

Affordable 4G LTE Has everything I need to run my mobile pet grooming business, I'm even able to book my clients online using my phone and the GPS Navigation is awesome, I've owned a Samsung Intercept and a Blackberry Curve 9310 and those phones can't compete with the Victory, I highly recommend it!
Pros: awesome phone

My first smart phone so I have no basis of comparison but I am enjoying this phone alot. The only suggestion I have for Virgin is to fix your website. The "Manage My Account" is all over the place. Minutes used don't match details and phone calls made shown (always 0) and actual minutes used don't always add up. Also the timestamp is 5 hours off. And finally, the incoming calls always show my phone number and not the callers phone number. Just saying. Never saw anything like this at, and others.
Pros: fast responsive
Cons: text messaging sometimes erases input??>

I had the HTC Evo V and spilled something on it, breaking it. So, I got a replacement under VM one year warranty. Unfortunately, they were out of the HTC Evo V so they said they could give me the Galaxy Victory. Just by looking at it I knew I didn't want it, but I didn't know how long it was going to take to get an Evo V so I said sure. I have had the Galaxy Victory for 2 days. I HATE IT. It is the slowest phone I have ever had. It takes forever just go to a different screen. And texting? Don't even try it. It doesn't even auto correct any of my words? I have searched all over the phone and internet to fix this. It takes a lot of willpower to not smash it. I really hope I can go back to my Evo because I really can not stand this phone. On the plus side it's battery is great compared to the Evo V.
Pros: battery
Cons: texting, phone malfunction, slow, camera quality, downloads

Major upgrade from the Optimus V, which was OK. The Optimus V was a good starter phone a year ago.... If you are looking for a new phone now, spring for this one, you won't regret it. Its got a current OS and has 4G LTE, so it will last you a lot longer. No problems so far, I have had about a month. Can't transfer apps to the SD, but that s not a serious drawback for me, has plenty of phone memory.
Has a fantastic screen, and S-voice, which is pretty cool. Thanks Virgin for saving me big bucks on my mobile.

I have only had the phone for a short time but I must say I really like it so far.
Pros:
Fast, I ran a speed test on both this and the Samsung Galaxy S2 at the exact same time and this phone was faster than the S2.
4G LTE
Dedicated camera button
External micro SD slot
Clock alarm briefing mode, I love this feature. It wakes me with the weather, agenda items for the day and top news before it plays my choice of sounds to wake up to.
Cons:
Battery life, this is not a deal breaker for me, I say just buy a 2nd battery
Storage, I don't like that you can't add apps to the micro SD card
Screen size, I can't help it, I love a big screen to stream Netflix on
Pros: price 4g lte
Cons: storage

Best phone I've had under VM, Had the Optimus Elite, weak. Changed to OneV, got better but still not happy. Now I got this Galaxy, and feel satisfied. It is fast, powerful, easy to operate, lots of other great features. Seems to weight light for its size, and has a screen is a great size. The only weak thing about this phone is the speaker, very low sounding.
Pros: smooth, fast, easy to use, reliable, screen size
Cons: speakerphone

The phone works really well. I finally moved up from the LG Optimus V and I can actually download newer apps again! The battery life with use is about the same as the Optimus V. Total space available for apps that the user actually puts on is about 1.4GB. You can't put apps on the SD card so if you use a ton of space that's something to think about. You can use music and pictures from SD card. One thing to think about is if you're in an area where you'd normally get 4G but not 4G LTE you'll have to live with 3G. It is really nice having the connectivity optimizer. It makes it so you can leave WiFi on without having your phone search for connections all the time draining your battery. I love that you can change the bottom set keys to whatever apps you want, so you can switch to different messaging and internet apps.
Pros: battery life, connectivity optimizer, overall phone quality and ease of use, option to show battery power as percentage
Cons: 4g lte but no normal 4g, can't move apps to sd card

I'm glad to hear you like it. How much faster/smoother/etc. do you feel it is over the LG Optimus V? Thanks.
Also, you can move apps to the SD Card.
Settings, Applications, Click the app, move to SD Card. Hope this makes your experience better.
